Big Star Comedy-Small Town Show heads to flyover country and dives into the history of small-town America. It looks at small-town non-profit organizations that make a difference and adds to the town’s history by giving them an amazing and unforgettable comedy show by a big star.
Each episode follows a big star comedian touring a small American town to discover historical facts of the venues, hotels, roadside attractions and engaging with people to find out what makes each town amazing and unique. If that wasn’t enough, we even get a glimpse of the history of the entertainer, make a visit to a non-profit organization to meet the people that are making this world a better place then finish each episode at a historical venue for a hilarious comedy show from the big star comedian.
Rocky LaPorte’s appeal comes from his everyman, streetwise style of comedy. Delivering laughs in his trademark Brooklyn accent, he has become one of the most sought after comedians in the country, and he just recently appeared on the season 8 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing!

A former Chicago truck driver and dock worker, Rocky has accumulated a slew of performances throughout his career, including being a featured comic on Showtime‘s The Godfathers of Comedy, a special starring five of America’s most hilarious Italian-American comics.

Howard Glazer is a Detroit native, moving only for a few years to nearby Chicago where he honed his blues skills before returning home. Growing up there was always music in the household; both of his parents were musicians and his two older brothers played music also. It was in this environment that Howard developed a wide range pf musical tastes and influences. A variety of musical endeavors continued to mold Howard's unique style, most notably his recent work with Harmonica Shah who he's toured the world with several times.
